Smart Counseling Corp., a TechFW client, has received a $5,000 grant from RevTech Ventures to offer expanded access to its remote mental health counseling solutions at SmartCounseling.com.
The grant enables greater opportunity for people in the D/FW area who are challenged with stress, anxiety and depression as a result of the effects of COVID-19 to access licensed mental health therapists at an affordable cost.
Smart Counseling, headquartered in Trophy Club, TX, allows patients to connect with a licensed therapist online anytime, anywhere. A person can schedule live messaging, audio, or video sessions when convenient and it’s easy to use, private and confidential. It also offers therapists a simple way to expand their practice through a white-label solution.
“We have put together a program that will offer people who sign up in the next 60 days 55-65% off of services for a one-month period and 50% off after that for six months,” said James Tito, co-founder and CEO. “We also have instituted a program for employers to offer their employees SmartCounseling.com services as a benefit.”
RevTech Ventures is a seed fund and startup accelerator program in Dallas with a focus on technologies for the retail industry. It awarded six grants for entrepreneurial solutions to address the needs of vulnerable populations affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. The grants have to be implemented and achieve results within 90 days.
This offer is available at SmartCounseling.com and use coupon code COVID19 to receive a 60% discount.
