Company noted for its enterprise-wide approach to automation, including proprietary algorithms for robotic process automation

CBRE has earned Realcomm’s acclaimed Digie award for the Best Use of Automation in the Commercial Services category. Reflecting CBRE’s sustained and expanding prowess in delivering tech-led solutions, this marks the company’s fourth Digie award in five years from Realcomm, a global real estate technology thought leader and convener.

“CBRE leverages automation to unlock efficiencies and deliver differentiated client outcomes,” says Sandeep Davé, Chief Digital and Technology Officer for CBRE. “Our teams continually seek ways to improve and simplify processes for our clients and our people through automation and other efficiency generating applications.”

CBRE’s investments are proving effective in creating more efficient processes internally. The company also has developed and continues to expand proprietary algorithms integrating Internet of things (IoT) and building management system (BMS) signals to automate remote and on-site asset maintenance protocols—unlocking thousands of hours of maintenance technicians’ time for higher-value client needs.

Through these types of automation and technology, CBRE has realized cost efficiencies, generated robust data and analytics, improved productivity and delivered enhanced client outcomes.

“We are at an exciting moment, when ideas shared over the years with colleagues at Realcomm are gaining real-world, practical traction,” says Matt Werner, Chief Operating Officer, Americas, for the company’s Global Workplace Solutions (GWS) business. “CBRE is deeply invested in successful automation that improves cost, reliability and quality for our clients. We strive to lead this industry in tangible introductions of innovation that help our clients meet their portfolio and facilities management services goals.”

Realcomm’s Digie award recognizes companies, real estate projects, technologies and people that go above and beyond to positively impact the real estate industry using technology, automation and innovation.

In 2018, CBRE received the Digie award for its Vantage suite of enablement technologies, which provides automation, visualization, data analytics and other capabilities for our professionals and clients at various stages of the real estate lifecycle. CBRE also earned Realcomm’s Digie award in 2017 for its smart building solutions innovations and in 2016 for its CORE Asset Services operating platform, which allows property management professionals to assess and track key performance indicators and operational data to help clients make timely and strategic decisions.
