Womble Bond Dickinson continues to build its Houston office, adding technology and electrical engineering patent attorney Chris Limbacher to the team.

Before law school, Limbacher spent nearly a decade as a software engineer in the oil & gas and healthcare industries, where he developed commercial products including enterprise software suites, real-time control systems, and automated wireless tracking systems. His engineering background includes holding a patent for automating drill pipe tally during drilling.

Limbacher also authored an award-winning article on the effects of state and national legislation on healthcare pricing in the Houston Law Review.

Womble Bond Dickinson opened its Houston office in January to serve the global energy, advanced manufacturing, technology, and life sciences sectors.Since then, the firm has added highly respected lateral partners Tony Guerino and Liz Klingensmith to add depth to the Houston office litigation practice.
