Nhu (Jasmine) T. Vu has joined Cantey Hanger LLP as an Associate in the firm’s Business Transactions Section. Vu’s practice will focus on mergers and acquisitions, real estate, finance, and corporate and securities transactions.

Vu graduated from the University of Texas in 2013, where she won an Outstanding Student Achievement Award, and earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Houston Law Center in 2016. While there, she was involved in several leadership activities, including serving as Senior Articles Editor on the Houston Journal of International Law; Student Attorney in the Transactional Law Clinic; Vice President on the Association of Women in Law; and Member of the Leadership Council for Legal Diversity.

Previously, Vu worked as an associate with Lewis Roca Rothgerber Christie in Denver, and Chamberlain, Hrdlicka, White, Williams & Aughtry in Houston. She was a Legal Extern to the Honorable Joseph Tad Halbach, 333rd Civil District Court, in 2014 and has clerked with CenterPoint Energy and Hewlett-Packard. She is admitted to practice in Texas and Colorado.
