Reid Wilson
Reid Wilson, chair of the Wilson Cribbs + Goren law firm, has been elected treasurer of the Real Estate, Probate and Trust LawSection of the State Bar of Texas for 2018–2019. After a yearas treasurer, Wilson will serve as chair-elect/secretary and then as chairof the section, both for one-year terms.
The Real Estate, Probate & Trust Law (REPTL) Section was created in 1939 (originally known as the State Bar Committee on Real Estate, Probate, and Trust Law) and is the second-oldest section of the State Bar of Texas. REPTL is a section of the State Bar of Texas composed of lawyers (as well as law students) who practice or have an interest in the fields of real estate, probate or trust law. It is the largest section of the state bar, with over 9,200 members.
Wilson is recognized as preeminent land use attorney in southeast Texas. He is a Fellow of the American College of Real Estate Lawyers (ACREL), and is one of only three practicing Texas real estate attorney members holding the Counselors of Real Estate (CRE) designation.
