Laura Hilton Hallmon, a Partner with Cantey Hanger LLP, has accepted the nomination to serve as President-elect of the Baylor Line Foundation (originally the Baylor Alumni Association) beginning June 1.

Hallmon, currently a member of the Executive Committee of the foundation’s Board of Directors, will become President June 1, 2018 and Immediate Past President June 1, 2019.

The mission of the independent, not-for-profit Baylor Line Foundation is to “tell the stories of the Baylor (University) family; help future alumni write their Baylor stories; and speak with an independent voice committed to preserving the timeless values of Baylor’s founders.”

Its fundraising efforts provide for student scholarships, publication of The Baylor Line magazine and activities / events that support its mission.

Hallmon, whose practice focus is labor and employment law, is a 1996 graduate of Baylor University and a 1999 graduate of Baylor University School of Law.
