Avanti Senior Living recently set the stage for the pouring of the foundation for its third community in the Houston metro area. The senior living company was excited to hold a Foundation Celebration Party for its newest community, Avanti Senior Living at Augusta Pines. Bruce Hillegeist, president of the Greater Tomball Area Chamber of Commerce, Gil Staley, chief executive officer of The Woodlands Area Economic Development Partnership, Tim Hekker, CEO of Avanti Senior Living and Lori Alford, COO of Avanti Senior Living, were all present at the event. The $17 million, 77,000-square-foot assisted living and memory care community will bring more than 65 jobs to Spring and serve at least 98 older adults. Avanti is pioneering an entirely new concept by combining stylish aesthetics, extensive technology, unrivaled care, invigorating options, customizable programs and endless opportunities to empower residents to live life the way they want to live it.
“We are passionate about our commitment as change agents and look forward to providing exceptional living to all seniors,” said Hekker. “We plan to overcome common misconceptions associated with senior housing and create a transformative experience for our residents by giving them a multitude of choices, a culture of connectedness and a sense of empowerment. We will offer a unique balance of sophisticated living, cutting-edge design and technology and unparalleled customer service that will surpass the highest benchmarks currently offered in the industry. We feel privileged to bring our unique concept to Tomball/Spring area to provide the best lifestyle experience in retirement.”
Hekker and Alford are leveraging their combined 50-plus years of experience in senior living and health care to revolutionize assisted living and memory care. Both agree that Avanti exists to transform lives, think outside the box, disrupt previous standards, innovate, and inspire those they serve. Everything from the resident suites to the community-wide amenities has been designed with style, sophistication and comfort. Spacious one- and two-bedroom suites will boast plush carpeting, wood flooring, expansive windows, walk-in closets, oversized showers, stone countertops, upgraded finishes on plumbing, appliances and other household features, sprawling counter space and storage space as well as other signature features. In addition, RFID keyless entry will allow residents to enter and exit their suites without worrying about carrying keys. They are eager to welcome families out to hear about the culture of innovation that they are fostering at Avanti Senior Living at Augusta Pines.
“Our change-driven spirit helped us reimagine senior housing, and we are taking cues from the hospitality sector to provide a customizable, resort-style experience,” said Lori Alford, COO of Avanti Senior Living. “Good things are coming to those who choose to live at Avanti Senior Living at Augusta Pines. This is a lifestyle community where residents will feel ageless as they follow their passions, explore new interests, continue learning and focus on whole-body well-being. The layout of Avanti Senior Living at Augusta Pines will give residents easy access to various destinations, including a state-of-the-art wellness center with ballet barre and fitness equipment, a theater area, a full-service salon and spa offering relaxation therapy, aromatherapy, deep tissue massage, hair styling and manicures/pedicures, as well as a fully functional art studio with an abundance of natural light and a stone wall for the residents to display artwork. Additionally, Avanti has partnered with Juli Juneau, a blown-glass artist with a celebrity following, to adorn the community with custom artwork. Attendees can join ‘The A List’ upon their initial visit and get priority selection of suites, discounts, special invitations and more.”
Avanti Senior Living at Augusta Pines will be located off Kuykendahl Road and West Rayford Road. The community is expected to open in late 2017. Currently, Avanti Senior Living at Vision Park in Shenandoah, as well as Avanti Senior Living at Towne Lake in Cypress are making an outstanding impression on the adult children and seniors in Houston community. The Towne Lake community opened in 2015, and Vision Park opened just last year. The community in Flower Mound (Dallas) will open next month and others are planned for Louisiana and Arizona.
