CycleBar, Premium Indoor Cycling Studio, to Hold Free Rides in Weeks Leading Up to Grand Opening

CycleBar® Southlake, a new concept in premium indoor cycling that offers a high energy workout in a concert-like atmosphere, will open on September 5 at 1241 East St. Highway 114 in the new Carroll Pointe shopping center. The new studio is one of 100 CycleBar studios to open to riders in 2016.

From August 25 through September 4, CycleBar Southlake will hold its CycleBlast™ free ride event in celebration of the grand opening. The CycleBlast free ride event gives the community an opportunity to get a sneak peek of the CycleBar studio before the doors officially open by participating in one of 50 free classes offered over 10 days. Registration is required and offered first-come, first-serve athttp://southlake.cyclebar.com.

“More than 54 million Americans are working out at boutique fitness studios across the country,” said Marcus Capone, CycleBar Southlake franchise owner. “CycleBar offers a unmatched boutique fitness experience, from our CycleTheater and CycleGiving program, to our concierge services, and we can’t wait to officially introduce CycleBar Southlake to the community. We encourage already proven indoor cycling enthusiasts and those just looking to try something new to join us and ROCK YOUR RIDE.’”

Franchise owners Marcus and Amber Capone, Kelly and Tim Ross, as well as partners Missy and Steve Nichols, and Kay and Michael Murphy, are taking a family approach to the business. Marcus Capone, a former and highly decorated U.S. Navy SEAL, completed multiple combat tours in Iraq and Afghanistan. He later went on to finish business school before selecting CycleBar as his first franchise venture. Husband and wife team, Kelly and Tim Ross, saw a need for a better fitness and indoor cycling experience in the area. Tim is a retail executive with over 25 years experience in the customer service industry, and fitness has been a lifelong passion for him. Kelly has years of experience volunteering in local communities, fundraising, and aims to have a positive impact on Southlake’s community.

CycleBar offers a pay-per-class model, with no membership necessary. Concierge service and amenities include free towels, showers, lockers, shoes and much more.

The dynamic classes take place in a state-of-the-art CycleTheatre® and are led by CycleStar™ instructors who take participants through a 50-minute high-energy ride. The CycleTheatre features tiers for 48 bikes plus LED lighting, wide-screen graphics and state-of-the-art audio with a DJ booth. Riders can also track performance data via CycleStats™ and can download music used in the class session. After class, riders cool down with fresh fruit and enhanced water, while aromatherapy helps guests relax throughout the facility.

CycleBar also does more than just help people stay in shape, it gives them the opportunity to work out to support a cause through philanthropic CycleGiving™ events that regularly take place at the studios. In 2015, CycleBar supported Susan G. Komen to raise funds for breast cancer awareness, the American Heart Association to raise funds for heart disease research and prevention and The Movember Foundation to raise awareness for men’s health and well-being.
