Posh Paw Resort Relocating, Expanding in Tarrant County

6/13/16

The local owners of an upscale pet resort have acquired a 10,160-sf office building in Tarrant County to keep pace with customer demand for their daycare, boarding and grooming services.

Posh Paw Resort will relocate in August to 1808 Industrial Blvd. in Colleyville from nearby 6607 Colleyville Blvd. Developed in 1997 on slightly less than one acre, the single-story building will undergo extensive renovations to provide more boarding space, including luxury suites and a separate area for small dogs. The upgrades also will include an outdoor turf play yard and valet service.

"This move is customer driven. This property was zoned properly and exactly the type of space we needed to expand our business and services," says Dawn Hoverson of Colleyville, who launched Posh Paw Resort about three years ago with her husband, William. The relocation will result in 4,160 sf of added space.

Brian Pafford, senior vice president and managing partner of Dallas-based Bradford Commercial Real Estate Services, represented Posh Paw Resort. The seller, GH Mortgage Inc., used in-house representation.

"This couldn’t have worked out any better for Post Paw Resort. It's literally right around the corner from its existing location," Pafford says. "This provided the owners the expansion they needed."
