NAI Partners’ Landlord Services Division adds new business line, Partners Facilities Services

Andy Uschold, formerly with Lowe’s, to join company as Director of Facilities Services connecting property owners with facilities services

NAI Partners Landlord Services Division has added a new business line, Partners Facilities Services (PFS), that will be offering owners, users, and tenants of small to medium-sized office and/or industrial buildings the chance to have access to high-quality facility services in a cost-efficient and effective manner.

The company has hired Andy Uschold to lead the new line of business in Houston in the newly created role of Director of Facilities Services. “I’m delighted to announce both the launch of Partners Facilities Services, and the addition of Andy to spearhead its operation,” said Jim Tainter, Partner and Managing Director of NAI Partners’ Landlord Services Division.

“PFS solves the problem of the time and hassle companies have in providing themselves their own facilities services. By significantly reducing both internal and external costs for companies required to deal with their facility management needs; PFS gives its clients access to expertise these services historically have lacked internally or that normally fall outside the competencies of most companies’ core business.”

Tainter adds, “Owners/users or NNN lease tenants of small to medium office or industrial buildings are often responsible for or are obligated by lease to provide for all the required facility management-related services at their building or facilities. Previously, there hasn’t been a “one-stop-shop” where all of these services are made available a la carte—until Partners Facilities Services. Through our Landlord Services platform; PFS already has a comprehensive database of trusted relationships with facilities services providers. PFS then is uniquely qualified to help its clients ensure ther right level of service for the right cost, provide significant cost savings, and more effectively manage the required service provider and facility needs; thus allowing our clients to focus on their core business more efficiently.”

In this new role, Mr. Uschold will be responsible for leading the day-to-day operations of PFS, helping connect reliable, high-quality providers across the full range of facilities services—including HVAC maintenance and repairs, elevator maintenance, roof repairs, janitorial, carpet cleaning, and window washing, landscaping, and many more—with owners and tenants of small to medium-sized office and/or industrial buildings.

PFS then also gives its clients’ access to an even larger “one-stop” facility management-related menu of “Value-Add” services. Services that require an expert to handle but can certainly bring about significant cost savings. Those “Value-Add” services include Operating Expense Audits (for the NNN-leased Tenants); Property Tax Consulting; Electricity Contract Procurement; Utility Company Coordination; Property Insurance Procurement; Development Services and Capital Improvement Coordination/ Construction Management.

Mr. Uschold joins NAI Partners from Lowe’s, where he held the position of Manager of Professional Services, a role in which he led Lowe’s Pros’ six-person sales team to build and grow relationships with local companies. Prior to that, he was the European Director of Operations for Archers Baseball Organization in London, where he developed relationships with heads of other European baseball organizations to expand the reach of Archer Baseball.

Mr. Uschold has a Bachelor of Business Administration from Stephen F. Austin State University, with a double major in Economics and Marketing.
