Vending Concepts LLC has acquired a two-building project, totaling 29,500 sf, in east Fort Worth, working out terms to set up its headquarters and distribution center ahead of the closing.
The company's new base of operations is 1001 Miller Ave., a move of roughly three miles from its longtime leased location. Vending Concepts has been eyeing properties to buy for several years.
"When this opportunity popped up, it checked all the boxes. And, we were able to get it at a significant discount from the asking price," says Erik Blais, vice president in the Fort Worth office of Dallas-based Bradford Commercial Real Estate Services.
The office/warehouse project, developed in 1960, is situated on nearly two acres in the bull's eye of east Fort Worth. The buyer has gained a fully fenced property for storing its fleet of box trucks and about 9,500 sf of additional warehouse space, neither of which was available at its former location.
"This is a good central hub for all of their current clients and future ones," Blais says.
Vending Concepts, owned by Louis P. LaVilla III, also has sales and distribution center in Houston. The company sells commercial vending machines and private label coffee.
Christopher Fleeger and David Jimenez of Morrow Hill represented the seller, Graco Supply Co., which put the property on the market after its buyout of aerospace distributor E.V. Roberts and move last year to nearby Arlington.
