Vekeno Kennedy has joined the firm of Wilson Cribbs + Goren, PC as a senior attorney in its Real Estate Law Practice Group. Kennedy will assist clients with transactional matters covering the development, leasing, financing, and acquisition and disposition of all types and classes of real property.

Kennedy started her legal career in California practicing in the areas of business and construction defects litigation, and real estate transactions. She has held in-house counsel roles of two privately held real estate companies, and a publicly registered real estate investment trust (REIT).

In her current practice areas, Kennedy focuses on drafting and negotiating purchase and sale agreements for commercial properties, as well as office, retail, warehouse and ground leases. She will also provide general counsel services for companies with no in-house legal team.

Kennedy received her law degree from the California Western School of Law and her undergraduate degree from the University of San Diego.She is licensed in California as well as Texas. She also has her California broker’s license.
