Whitley Penn is pleased to announce that Kirby Mills, CPA has joined the firm as Learning and Development Manager located in the Austin office.

Mills has more than six years of human resources experience assisting firms with directing, developing, and executing campus recruiting strategies. One of her major accomplishments includes developing and managing an internship program called ENVISION, which was nationally ranked #1 Accounting Internship by Vault.com for two consecutive years. In addition to her recruiting background, Mills is a licensed Certified Public Accountant who has experience performing audit and attestation services for clients in a variety of industries.

Mills is also an active member in our community. She has been heavily involved in the Alzheimer’s Association for four years and a Team Captain for the organization for three consecutive years.

Mills received her B.S. in Accounting and her M.P.Acy. from Clemson University.
