Bright Realty is pleased to announce the hiring of Cole Claiborn as senior vice president. In this role, Claiborn is responsible for Special Projects, specifically those related to financing special districts and other capital markets needs. Bright Realty is a full-service commercial and residential real estate firm founded in the 1950s by the late H.R. "Bum" Bright, former Dallas Cowboys owner. The company is responsible for developing the award-winning, master-planned Castle Hills community which features mixed-use, multi-family, single-family and office properties, including The Realm at Castle Hills, a $1.5 billion development currently under construction.

Claiborn joins Bright Realty after working for 10 years in capital markets, focusing primarily on municipal bonds. As an associate director for ORIX USA’s Municipal and Infrastructure Group, he spent seven years focused on directly originating high yielding investments including real estate and infrastructure projects. While there, he also developed a new investment thesis and unique structure investing in Special District receivables that generated double-digit returns. Prior to his position at ORIX, he worked as an analyst for Jeffries & Company in New York in the Municipal Securities/Public Finance division.
