Colliers International is strengthening their landlord representation teams in Houston with the addition of industrial broker Robert Alinger as senior vice president and office broker Blake Virgilio as vice president. Colliers' landlord representation experts attract top tenants to properties by developing a deep understanding of the competitive market, the real estate requirements of companies in those markets and executing comprehensive marketing techniques that showcase a property’s best qualities.

With more than 12 years of commercial real estate experience, Robert Alinger specializes in industrial landlord representation and project leasing, tenant and buyer representation and site acquisition and disposition. Robert attended the University of Houston where he studied Construction Management Technology. He has achieved the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors (SIOR) designation, the Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation and the LEED Accredited Professional (LEED AP) designation.

Blake Virgilio brings over 10 years of commercial real estate experience. He focuses on office leasing and sales, assisting tenants with renewals, relocations, purchases, dispositions and financial analysis of commercial real estate. Blake is also a Houston native and has earned the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors (SIOR) and the Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designations. Houston's booming port and growing population is creating robust demand and increased development for industrial product in the region. More than 24 million people live within 250 miles of Houston and the city’s population is growing at a rate of 1,000 people per week. This robust demand continues to lower industrial vacancies in Houston. Meanwhile, Houston’s office market continues to slowly improve, filling vacant space emptied during the energy downturn.
