NewQuest Properties has gained a new executive vice president and four senior vice presidents in a record-setting round of promotions rewarding a total of 17 commercial real estate professionals for their service to the company and production volumes.

The firm's newest executive vice president is Dave Ramsey, a 32-year veteran and former vice president who's been with NewQuest since 2000 and a recognized leader in commercial real estate with a career production volume topping $1.9 billion of transactions. He specializes in the acquisition and disposition of large residential and mixed-use properties. Since 2001, he has handled transactions involving more than 24,000 acres.

"Dave and the 16 other newly promoted brokers are the bedrock for NewQuest's continued success," says Katherine Hatcher, president and COO of the Houston-based firm. "Each one has attained a level of excellence in their specialty and earned their promotions through hard work, a deeply committed focus to clients and high ethical standards."

Promoted to senior vice president from vice president were Bob Conwell, Brad Elmore, Rebecca Le and Brad LyBrand. Their production volume was nearly $74 million in 2018.

The newly named vice presidents are Austin Alvis, Ori Batagower, Glenn Dickerson, Josh Friedlander, Jon Jamison, Rachael Keener, John Nguyen, Shireen Owlia and Ashley Strickland, all former associates. They had a combined production volume topping $176 million in 2018. Friedlander also has been honored as NewQuest's top retail broker in 2018.

Rising to senior associate from associate are Danny McCormack, J.J. McDermott and Austen Baldridge, who also earned the firm's "top rookie" award in 2018. Their combined production volume hovered $28.5 million in 2018.

The 17 professionals hold numerous industry awards and are active in the International Council of Shopping Centers. The majority of the newly promoted brokers have joined NewQuest since

2010. Conwell is one of the firm's most senior tenured professionals, marking his 27th year with NewQuest and its predecessor. The company was formed in 2001 with the merger of Quest Properties and Sears Realty Co., emerging as a full-service retail powerhouse on a continuous growth trajectory. The present-day NewQuest Properties has 39 brokers, owns a $2.08 billion portfolio with 60-plus properties in Texas and Louisiana and provides leasing services for more than 12 million square feet of commercial space.

"We are very proud of the outstanding brokerage team we've assembled through the years," Hatcher says. "Congratulations to NewQuest's newly promoted brokers for jobs well done."
