Triangle Peak Partners, a Houston, Texas-based firm raised $128 million towards a $300 million third fund, according to a filing with the SEC. So far 15 LPs have invested in the fund.

As a multi-strategy asset management firm, Triangle Peak focuses on venture capital investments in technology and growth equity investments in the energy industry.

The firm’s VC practice spans all sectors of technology, investing primarily in the Series B through pre-IPO stages. Triangle Peak aims to invest $5 million to $15 million over the life of a company.
