The Grove Frisco Named Finalist In Dallas Business Journal’s Best Real Estate Deals Of 2018 Awards

3/25/19

The Grove Frisco, a 735-acre, thoughtfully planned community by Newland, has been named a finalist in the “Single-Family or Planned Community” category of the Dallas Business Journal’s Best Real Estate Deals of 2018 Awards.

Now in its 27th year, the awards program celebrates the best deals in commercial and residential real estate each year. The category winner will be announced at the Best Real Estate Awards dinner April 9 and be profiled in an April 12 special report of the publication. The Grove Frisco, which launched in June 2018 and is located at the “Four Corners” where Allen, Frisco, McKinney and Plano meet, is one of only two communities honored as finalists in the category.

“We’re thrilled to be recognized in this prestigious awards program among a distinguished set of peers,” said Brian Cramer, Newland senior vice president and division manager – Dallas. “The Grove Frisco is a truly unique development that offers a place for residents to put down roots and settle into the fast-growing, thriving Frisco community. From an on-site bakery to regular lifestyle programming and events, we’re breaking down walls between neighbors to cultivate a deeply connected, modern village.”

One of the biggest single-family developments currently under construction in Frisco, The Grove Frisco offers customized homes in the high $400,000-$800,000 range. The community is situated off the Sam Rayburn Tollway to provide convenient access to nearby employment opportunities and an unrivaled spectrum of shopping, dining, entertainment and recreation options. The Grove Frisco is also zoned for several schools in the highly regarded Frisco ISD.

A highlight of the community is its amenity center, Orchard House, which features Swirl Cafe & Bakery to provide a gathering place for residents and visitors alike – a venue not replicated anywhere else in North Texas. Other amenities include an event lawn and event pavilion, resort-style pools, a children’s splash pad, a fitness center and meeting rooms. The Grove Frisco’s picturesque landscape of over 850 trees also sets the community apart and includes 60 preserved trees from the original land. The community’s first 25 acres of green space includes hand-crafted playgrounds made with natural materials inspired by the surrounding foliage, 4.5 miles of trails, a planned catch-and-release fishing pond, a future eight-acre city park, a dog park, a butterfly park and a hammock park.
