Four Cantey Hanger attorneys have been recognized as “Texas Rising Stars” for 2019 by Texas Super Lawyers. The state list will appear in the April publication of Texas Monthly magazine.
The four, their law schools, and the practice areas for which they were recognized are:
• Christopher A. Klement, Civil Rights;
• Derek Carson, Business litigation;
• David Speed, Civil Litigation: Defense; and,
• Philip A. Vickers, Business litigation.
To be eligible for inclusion as a Rising Star, a candidate must be 40 years old or younger, or in practice 10 years or less. Fewer than 2.5 percent of those eligible are named to the Rising Stars list. An independent rating service specializing in legal services qualifies the candidates, who are judged in 12 areas of professional achievement.
