Adam Green
Adam Green of Baker Donelson has been certified by ASSE/IAPMO/ANSI as a Legionella Water Safety and Management Specialist. The ASSE 12080 certification is awarded to those who demonstrate competencies in environmental testing, risk assessment, water safety and management programs, mitigation and remediation methods, construction and renovation, and case investigation as it relates to Legionella and other waterborne pathogens. The certification is pursued by water safety management professionals including those in the fields of engineering, microbiology, industrial hygiene, remediation and water treatment.
A shareholder in Baker Donelson's Houston office, Mr. Green leads the Firm's national Water Technology & Water Treatment Group and is a member of the Complex Torts Group. He concentrates his practice in matters involving building water systems, water treatment chemistry, products liability, commercial litigation, construction and toxic torts on a national scale. He has served as lead counsel in more than 30 states from Hawaii, to Florida, to Massachusetts. Mr. Green has defended Legionella-related outbreaks across the country including the successful defense of the first reported Legionella wrongful death case against a chemical water treater from the trial court through the United States Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals.
