Tony Guerino, a 20+ year veteran of Texas’ energy and environmental litigation arena, is the latest addition to the firm’s new Houston office.

Womble Bond Dickinson has added to its new Houston office a veteran local energy/environmental litigation partner, Tony Guerino.

Guerino brings more than 20 years of experience in energy and environmental litigation involving oil exploration and production disputes. Prior to becoming an attorney, he worked as a petroleum and natural gas engineer, giving him a background in many of the technical aspects of his clients’ industry. In addition to serving as lead counsel in energy exploration and production litigation, Guerino also represents energy industry clients in contract disputes and business torts. In 2011, he was named a Fellow of the Texas Bar Foundation, one of the state’s top legal industry honors.

On Jan. 29, Womble Bond Dickinson announced the opening of the Houston office, which will initially focus on serving the global energy, advanced manufacturing, technology, and life sciences sectors. Guerino joins a team that includes Houston Office Managing Partner Jeffrey Whittle as well as attorneys Josh Davis, Liz Riley, Paul Turner, Mark Shelleyand Kristin Lamb.
