New Developments Bring New Retail Constructions

10/8/18

Marcus & Millichap (NYSE: MMI), a leading commercial real estate investment services firm with offices throughout the United States and Canada, today announced the sale of Park Vista Retail, a 16,760-square foot retail property located in Fort Worth, Texas.

“During the listing period, we were able to field multiple qualified and competitive offers from local, out-of-state, and international investors,” said Joe Santelli, associate. “A majority of the interest on the property was drawn from California and abroad, signifying the attractive investment opportunities that the Dallas/Fort Worth retail market has to offer.”

Santelli, and Matthew Sheard, associate, in Marcus & Millichap’s Dallas office, had the exclusive listing to market the property on behalf of the seller, a private investor, and procured the buyer, a private investor.

The property drew interest from multiple buyers due to the growth surrounding North Tarrant Parkway. The ease of access to major thoroughfares in the Fort Worth area has driven new retail construction projects with national credit tenants and thousands of new rooftops. This combination has created a profitable submarket with a well-above average household income.
