Damerow concentrates his practice on estate planning and administration for domestic and international high-net-worth individuals, advising them on multijurisdictional planning and tax issues. He has extensive experience preparing estate planning documents, designing and implementing wealth preservation and transfer strategies using generation-skipping transfer tax-exempt trusts, and counseling clients in contested and non-contested estate and trust administration matters.
He has represented clients before regulatory authorities in tax controversy matters involving estate and gift tax audits with the Internal Revenue Service as well as nonprofit entities at every stage of operation including formation, administration, compliance and other related issues at state and federal levels.
