Bill M. Brown
Skanska USA has announced the addition of Bill M. Brown, a civil engineer with more than 22 years of experience in commercial construction, to its building unit in Houston.
As senior project manager, Brown will be responsible for overseeing daily construction operations and the workforce for projects managed by the Houston office, focusing on safety, schedule, contract management and quality control.
“We are excited to welcome Bill to the Skanska building team here in Houston,” said Ronnie Howe, Skanska senior vice president. “Bill’s experience in construction project management, paired with his business development skills, will undoubtedly be an asset as Skanska continues to identify new and exciting construction opportunities in the greater Houston market.”
A graduate of the Missouri University of Science and Technology, Brown has long considered himself an activist in the construction industry and is a member of a number of professional organizations, including the Associated General Contractors of America, Houston Area Construction Career Collaborative, National Society of Black Engineers and the OSHA Volunteer Protection Program.
