CBRE has hired Mary Anne Castles as Associate Director of Asset Services to lead its industrial property management team in Austin.

Ms. Castles joins CBRE from HPI, where she spent the past 19 years focused on industrial properties totaling seven million square feet across Texas, Ohio and Minnesota. Prior to HPI, she managed office buildings in Austin.

“I enjoy the financial aspect of managing industrial properties because there are often multiple large footprint properties and multiple owners involved. I also love the variety of tenants I get to interact with and their unique businesses. On the outside, the building may look like a big box, but on the inside, operations run the gamut from making widgets with innovative machinery to housing large data servers to developing software,” said Ms. Castles.

She has the BOMI Real Property Administrator (RPA) designation. Outside of work, Ms. Castles volunteers with Meals on Wheels and serves on the Busby Foundation Board of Directors.
