Austin, Texas-based True Wealth Ventures has raised $4.7 million of a targeted $20 million fund, according to a regulatory filing. The filing indicates that 19 limited partners have invested so far.

The firm, led by founder and General Partner Sara Brand and General Partner Kerry Rupp, invest in women-led companies with products and technologies in the consumer health and sustainable consumer sectors. Brand is a former corporate vice president with AMD and was previously an investment professional with Fremont Ventures. Rupp is the former CEO and general partner of DreamIt, a Philadelphia-based startup accelerator and early-stage investor.
