HOUSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--David Weinhoffer, a well-known restructuring professional, has joined MACCO Restructuring Group, LLC (MACCO) as a Managing Director in its Houston office.

David Weinhoffer has 35 years of business and restructuring knowledge and has led numerous companies through in and out-of-court business restructurings while serving in roles such as operating chapter 11 trustee, interim CEO, CRO, CFO and, as a post chapter 11, plan trustee. His results-driven leadership style and creative strategies have led to successful outcomes in highly- complex distressed situations, including foreign and domestic litigation. David’s global experience includes South & Central America, Asia, the Middle East and Europe. This, combined with his operational experience that spans diverse industries, including maritime, energy exploration & production, oilfield services, petrochemicals and decommissioning, defense, manufacturing, commercial construction and distribution, makes David a powerhouse advisor. Prior to MACCO, David served in both restructuring advisory and management leadership roles to public and private companies, and as an operating partner to a private equity firm. David attended East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania studying Marine Science & Business Management and acquired certifications in International & Domestic Arbitration, Mediation and Project Management from the University of Houston. David is a certified Mediator.
