Tarleton State University alumnus Scott Bradley has been named President of the Board of Directors of Kappa Delta Rho fraternity.

Bradley, a mortgage banker with Guild Mortgage in the DFW Metroplex, graduated from Tarleton in 1999 with a degree in agricultural business and a minor in economics.

“Being a member of the KDR board has been one of the biggest focuses for volunteer work in my life,” he said. “KDR gave me so much during and after college, and I desire to return as much as I can.”

Bradley has served on the fraternity’s board of directors for about 10 years but has been active at the national level since graduation. His first job out of Tarleton was working for the fraternity.

“When I graduated in ’99, I moved to the headquarters in Greensburg, Pa., for a year,” he said. “I’ve been involved with the national fraternity since then.”

Bradley previously served as Vice President of Standards and Risk Management, and Vice President of Finance and Administration.

“The ability to take leadership roles and grow the chapter was another way of getting involved at Tarleton,” he said. “It also gave me a way to give back so that other people have that same opportunity.”

Kappa Delta Rho was founded in 1905 at Middlebury College in Middlebury, Vt. The organization has grown to more than 25,000 members in 37 active chapters across the country. The fraternity has had a Tarleton chapter since 1989.

Tarleton, founding member of The Texas A&M University System, provides a student-focused, value-driven education marked by academic innovation and a dedication to transform today’s scholars into tomorrow’s leaders. It offers degree programs to more than 13,000 students at Stephenville, Fort Worth, Waco, Midlothian, RELLIS Academic Alliance in Bryan, and online, emphasizing real-world learning experiences that address societal needs while maintaining its core values of tradition, integrity, civility, excellence, leadership and service.
