9/14/20

RICHARDSON, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Hospice Pharmacy Solutions (HPS) is pleased to announce the appointment of Jane Margolin as the organization’s new president. Margolin brings extensive knowledge and experience in strategy and operations to the position. She has been with HPS since 2018, serving as both the Vice President of Strategy and Operations and Corporate Strategy.

Margolin holds an MBA in Finance, from Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and a BA in English Literature and Creative Writing from the University of Pennsylvania. Prior to joining HPS, she worked in strategy and operations consulting at Censeo Consulting in Washington, D.C.

Initially, Margolin will concentrate efforts on evaluating HPS strategy, building alignment across divisions to the HPS vision and focusing on a resourcing plan tailored to support successful strategy execution. “I want HPS to become a company that is structured around continuous innovation and change,” she said. “A dynamic and expert team is crucial to our success and we will continue to build out our team with the best talent out there.”

Margolin will focus on discussions with industry leaders, clients and employees. She brings a renewed energy on technology and systems strategy that will improve customer workflow and refocus customer interactions from administration to high-value engagement. Culture, communication with employees, internal processes and automation, creative network solutions, and leveraging data to drive behavior changes are also part of her focus as she enters into this new role.

Enhancing HPS’s Tru360™ program will be a priority. “We need to give hospice nurses the tools and technology to make better medication decisions whether it’s their first day or they’re 20 years in. Our goal is to take responsibility for cost-reduction and quality outcomes so hospice administrators and clinical teams can focus on patient care. We want to spend time with our customers on education, building relationships, and learning what their pain points are so we can solve their problems.”

Tru360™ is an industry-first program delivering the right medications, at the right time, in the right place through a network of more than 65,000 pharmacies. Around-the-clock customer service makes HPS a true partner of choice for hospice PBM solutions. Built on five foundational values, Tru360 is the most comprehensive, hospice-centered, patient-focused solution in the market today. Tru360 drives sustained cost reduction while improving patient satisfaction and outcomes.

“HPS is proud of our best-in-market medication utilization program, Tru360™. We do utilization management better than anyone, and the cost-reduction and quality our clients experience speaks for itself,” Corey Petry, Vice President of Sales said. “We’re just scratching the surface with what we can do for our customers, and Jane’s energy and leadership is exactly what HPS needs to get us to the next level.”

Aside from her work at HPS, Margolin has been involved in community engagement, serving as an inner-city mentor and small business mentor, a Penn/Northwestern Alumni Interviewer and a “TechTalk” Speaker.
