Financial services expert joins company’s strategic Advisory Board committee

Work Shield, a comprehensive workplace harassment and discrimination solution that manages reporting, investigations and resolution, announced today the newest addition to their Advisory Board. Leah Henderson, former Executive Vice President of PULSE, will help refine Work Shield’s sales approach, pricing structure and go-to-market strategy to further the company’s successful implementation in businesses across the nation.

Henderson retired in 2015 after a twenty-five year career in electronic payments and financial services at PULSE, a subsidiary of Discover Financial Services and one of the nation’s leading ATM/debit networks. Henderson is also a member of the Board of Prosperity Bancshares, Inc. where she serves as chair of the compensation committee and as a member of the enterprise risk committee. In her spare time, Henderson volunteers at the National Kidney Foundation to support advocating efforts for living donors.

“Work Shield’s unique, effective approach to managing workplace harassment and discrimination provides a smart solution to a problem that continues to permeate the market today,” said Henderson. “I am honored to serve on the Advisory Board alongside so many great leaders and look forward to supporting the team as they continue to shape positive and trustworthy workplace cultures.”

Henderson will join Work Shield’s Advisory Board alongside Google Human Resources Business Partner Nami Russom, President of PepsiCo Global Foods at PepsiCo, Jennifer Saenz, CEO of MD Medical Group Alvaro Saenz, Vice President of People at MoLo Solutions Laurel Legler, and Managing Partner of Haynes and Boone, LLP Timothy Powers. Each member of the Advisory Board brings exceptional leadership capabilities in a variety of industries to equip Work Shield for sustained business growth and company-wide success.

“We are thrilled to welcome Leah as the newest member of our Advisory Board,” said Jared Pope, founder and CEO of Work Shield. “With more than two decades of experience in financial services and sales, Leah will bring valuable expertise to our growth and strategy efforts.”
