CPS Energy CEO Paula Gold-Williams Honored With S&P Global Energy Chief Trailblazer Of The Year Award

Paula Gold-Williams, President & CEO of CPS Energy was named the first ever 2019 Chief Trailblazer of the Year at the 21st annual S&PGlobal Platts Global Energy Awardsthat was held in New York City on December 12th. Hosted by S&P Global Platts, the leading independent provider of information and benchmark prices for the commodities and energy markets, the annual awards program honors organizations and individuals in the energy industry who are dedicated to achieving excellence. The Chief Trailblazer of the Year honors game-changing performance by a CEO of a company.

San Antonio, Texas's municipally owned energy company, CPS Energy, was also featured as a finalist in the Award of Excellence – Power category among companies such as Engie, American Electric Power, Xcel Energy, and others.

The program bestowed 23 awards upon companies and individuals before an audience of over 500 energy and finance executives. Finalists hailed from a record of 37 countries.
