Argent Trust Company announced today that Kathy Christoffel has joined the company as market president for Fort Worth, where she will oversee the local wealth management team, including facilitating business development and providing client solutions.
“Kathy is a natural fit to take on the leadership position in Fort Worth and Tarrant County,” said Reid Harrell, Argent Financial Group chief fiduciary officer and Argent Trust regional executive. “She has decades of wealth management experience, strong relationships with the community and a track record of exceptional client service. I’m looking forward to our colleagues and customers benefiting from her talents.”
A certified trust and financial advisor (CTFA), Christoffel brings to Argent Trust 27 years of experience as a senior vice president and fiduciary officer at Wells Fargo. Christoffel received certification from Morton College in Cicero, Ill. She also holds certificates from the Cannon Trust School in Administration I, II, III, Investments I and Sales & Presentation Skills. In addition, she is involved with several professional organizations, including the American Bankers Association, Tarrant County Probate Bar and Institute of Certified Bankers.
A highly-engaged Fort Worth community volunteer, Christoffel is a board member of Amphibian Productions, a live theatre organization. She is also a certified guardian with the National Guardianship Association and former board member and past president of Guardianship Services. In addition, she was a former board member of CASA and Child Advocates and founding member of the Stephen Seleny Society of Planned Giving at Trinity Valley School.
“I wanted the next step in my career to be with a company that shared my core values and commitment to clients,” said Christoffel. “Several qualities drew me to Argent, including a reputation for providing fiduciary service with ethics and respect, and always having a client’s best interest at heart. And despite its size, it feels like a small-town company in the ways that matter most — such as giving truly personalized service.”
