We are proud to announce that Michael Hoffman is the new President of MBL Title. In this role, Michael handles a range of administrative, operational, legal and financial responsibilities. As a key member of executive leadership, he is instrumental in steering MBL Title’s strategic goals, communicating the company’s mission to employees in a way that is inspiring and actionable—maximizing each individual’s respective talents and roles within the organization. Michael will be the catalyst for MBL Title’s growth into a renowned title company. MBL Title, a Dallas-based, national title company, is growing at an exceptional rate since long-time business partners Matthew Lopez and Jon Meyers founded the company in late 2014. Since 2015, the company has facilitated more than $4 billion in transactions including individual transactions with insured values of $300 million.

Michael joins MBL Title with nearly three decades of senior executive leadership experience. In his most recent role as Chief Administrative Officer and General Counsel at a Dallas-based, commercially focused title agency, he successfully drove ongoing operations and efficiency while fostering company culture and vision. Prior to that, he served as Managing Director for Legal Services at global multi-family investor, developer and property manager at Greystar Real Estate Services, Chief Legal Officer and a member of the strategic leadership team at both third-party property management firms Riverstone Residential Group and global telecom services provider VarTec Telecom, where he was elevated to Chief Executive Officer and sole director.

Michael received his B.A. in History and Latin American Studies from Dickinson College, graduating magna cum laude and as a member of Phi Beta Kappa Society. He then earned his J.D. at American University, Washington College of Law, with honors, and served as President of Phi Delta Phi Legal Fraternity and as a member of the Honor Code Committee.

Michael has been recognized by multiple publications as one of Dallas’ top lawyers, among D Magazine’s “Best Lawyers Under 40 in Dallas” and Texas Monthly’s Texas Rising Star and Super Lawyers. Beyond professional success, Michael has served on numerous corporate, charitable and community boards, including Temple Emanu-El, Vogel Alcove Childcare Center for the Homeless, Levine Academy and the American Jewish Committee.

As President, Michael will evaluate the business, problem solve and work with other company leaders to ensure thoughtful decisions are promptly made, oversee personnel management and represent MBL Title at meetings and events involving its stakeholders.
