Austin, Texas-based Next Coast Ventures has added Jeff Browning, an experienced talent acquisition pro, as a venture partner. The firm said Browning will focus on helping portfolio companies with organizational design, talent acquisition and executive development.

Browning was most recently a principal at GTCR Private Equity, where he helped to recruit CEO candidates. Before that, he spent 15 years as the recruiting partner at Austin Ventures, focused on executive talent acquisition programs for that firm’s VC and growth practices.
