Polsinelli, an Am Law 100 law firm with a fast-growing presence in Texas, recently named Houston-based shareholder Gregory Novak as vice chair of the firm's new Intellectual Property Department. The Department will have two divisions, Science and Technology, and IP Proceedings and Litigation, and nine practice groups.

Enabling the company to better serve clients, elevating IP to its own department (one of only four departments in the firm) will not only provide additional resources but it will also serve as a platform for the firm’s projected investment into IP.
