Real estate software developer RealPage (NASDAQ:RP) has agreed to acquire certain multifamily software assets from The Rainmaker Group for $300 million in an all cash transaction.
Rainmaker has developed its LRO system to assist multifamily operators increase their rental revenues.
The combination of the LRO assets and RealPage's recent deal for Axiometrics' multifamily market data has the potential to create a revenue powerhouse, although we won't really know until after full integration in 2018.
