WEATHERFORD, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)--1845 Oil Field Services announced that company and industry veteran Robbie Ballard has been promoted to President and Chief Operating Officer by the Board of Directors. Mr. Ballard has served in various executive operations roles at 1845 since joining the business in 2011. This role aligns with the success demonstrated by 1845 Oil Field Services as it continues to create the nation’s largest oil field logistics and freight management company and positions itself for additional growth as the energy market continues to strengthen.
“Robbie has demonstrated the drive and commitment, along with the operational experience, to lead 1845 as the energy market begins to strengthen,” commented Marc Kramer and Chris Munro, the founders of AVC Partners. “He offers a distinct leadership style that resonates with both employees and customers. Robbie has successfully led each of the operating functions of the business and has adeptly navigated the cyclicality of the energy market and positioned the business for continued growth and expansion of its service offering.”
Mr. Ballard had significant operating experience in the trucking sector prior to joining 1845, given that he spent 5 years with a distribution operation where he was responsible for the operations of a fleet of 150 power units. Prior to that, Mr. Ballard had built a successful commercial HVAC company with 60 employees over the course of 15 years.
“I am proud of what has been accomplished at 1845 over the last several years and feel that the momentum we have created will only accelerate,” said Mr. Ballard. “We have developed and provide industry leading services and capabilities, which have differentiated our business with our customers. I look forward to continuing to work closely with our employees and customers.”
